AMPMAN Membership

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES, QUALIFICATIONS, ADMITTANCE ANDENTITLEMENTS

Membership of the Association is open to all Nigerians and non-Nigerians and shall be categorized as follows at all levels.

a.   AMPMAN Patron/Patroness – Can be appointed based on recommendation to National President by either National Excos or State Executive Council to act as a positive advisory support and lend credibility to the cause of the Association.

b.   AMPMAN VIP- A distinguished persons recognized by the Association due to his or her human endeavors and achievements. Plays Financial and Advisory roles to promote the activities of the Association.

All above categories are determined by the National President (Based on recommendation by a National committee set up to screen members for such categories)

C.    AMPMAN Full Member – A person is said to be a full member of AMPMAN if he or she meets the following criteria
1.   Must purchase AMPMAN registration form at the prevailing price at the time of entry
2.   Must have a registered Company under CAC Nigeria
3.   Must be a film investor
4.   Must be 18 years and above
5.   Be financial capable to Pay Yearly Dues as may be fixed by the National Executive Council from time to time
6.   Must be ready to be law abiding member of the Association
7.   Possession of current identification card.
8.   Must undergo AMPMAN screening
9.   Must undergo a probation period of not less than three (3) months before induction
10.                 Must be fully inducted

MEMBER’S SCREENING EXPECTATIONS
a.   A Prospective member must present three (3) movie masters of quality films of not less than an hour as an Executive producer.
b.    Must be Eligible and financial stable to pay yearly dues
c.    Must submit court affidavit, detailing the evidence of true ownership of three (3) film masters
d.   Must be ready to allow verification of the claimed film ownership by the Members of the Screening committee of the Association
e.   Upon disqualification, the member will be duly communicated through a letter from the National Screening Committee
f.      Upon acceptance, such a person will proceed to a probation period of not less than three (3) months before induction subject to the approval of the National president 

                     MEMBERSHIP EXPULSION
One ceases to be member of the association when;
1.   There is obvious lack of interest in the association by continuous absence from meetings and activities of the association for more than two years without an excuse, written or oral.
2.   When one openly declares his or her intentions to withdraw from the association or send a resignation letter.

b.   Anyone that absence himself or herself from meeting consistently for a year with no cogent excuse and without financial contribution to the house should have his or her name put in a list of “inactive members”. If he or she should surface before two years passes, with appropriate explanation, his or her name should be reentered into the register. If, however after two year nothing is heard from him or her, then one should be removed from the register and all benefits thereof due to members will be denied him or her. If he or she comes back, he or she should be made to purchase the registration form and undergo the registration processes again

c.    When a member who grossly violets the rules, regulations and objectives of this association is duly made aware of his or her erring actions by disciplinary committee and he or she refuses to adhere to their judgments, he will be expelled from the Association.
